Mason Mount has been at Chelsea since he was 6 years signing with the Under-9. He was part of the Under-18 team that won the UEFA Youth League and defended the trophy next season. Mount is also a Portsmouth fan, and still remains best friend with his childhood friend Declan Rice.


Mount joined Vitesse Arnhem in Dutch Eredivise in 2017 for a full season. He scored an impressive 14 goals and was voted the Vitesse Player of the Year. They also qualified for Europa League, and he also appeared in the Eredivisie Team of the Year.

In 2018, he spent the next season on loan at Derby County where he joined with former Chelsea player and coach, Frank Lampard. He scored 11 goals and 6 assists in the English Championship as Derby County narrowly missed the return to the top flight.

Chelsea Career

Mason Mount returned to Chelsea ahead of the 2019/20 season and teamed up with Frank Lampard who assumed the seat as Chelsea boss. He signed a five-year new deal and became an integral part of the Chelsea team. He made 53 competitive appearances throughout the season.

He will follow up the impressive debut season with a stronger showing in the 2020/21 season. He was instrumental in leading Chelsea to the highly coveted Champions League title. He popped up with an assist for Kai Havertz in the final to secure the title for Chelsea against Manchester City.

He was voted Player of the Season by Chelsea fans for his heroics throughout the season.

Mason Mount currently has 17 goals and 16 assists in 112 appearances for Chelsea (September 2021).

Mason Mount is an England international with 24 caps and 4 goals for the Three Lions. As a youth, he featured for England at the Under-16, 17, 18, 19, 21 categories too.
