Malang Sarr started his career at the OGC Nice academy when he was just 6. He will make his senior debut against Rennes when he was aged 17. He will score on his debut by heading a freekick. In November 2016, he will sign a professional contract with Nice. He will become one of the best young defenders in the French Ligue 1.
Chelsea
Malang Sarr signed a contract with Chelsea in August 2020 arriving on a free after running down his contract with Nice. He signed a five-year deal with Chelsea
He was sent to Porto on loan in October 2020. He made several appearances for the first team, including six in the Champions League.
Malang Sarr is eligible to play for the Senegalese National team since both parents are Senegalese migrants. However, he chose to represent France. He represented France at the youth levels even captaining the U-18 team.
